Hello all,

I live in the USA.

I have a problem with resealing.  My stamped concrete is 4 yrs old.  I powerwashed it aith a 3000 psi powerwasher and took out just about all of the old sealer.  Oh yeah I resealed my concrete last year and turned it white.  It's suppose to be tan....

So I just bought some resealer from Home Depot made by Behr.  I resealed a 4'x4' area It turned white again and you can see the streaks from powerwashing....for some reason I think I might have gotten to close with the powerwasher.

What do I do now?  Acid etch or else then reseal?  Or will I need to hire a professional (The professional last year told me what to do and it didn't work so hopefully there is something I can do)

Please help,

Tony

Hi Tony and thanks for the question there may be several reasons why this could be happening-- which part of the USA are you? and could you send me a picture of the existing concrete? if you can send it to david@supremeresurfacing.com.au.

When you say stamped concrete do you mean a slate finish ?
How long after the clean down did you seal the concrete?
Are you using a solvent or water based seal?

Ok let me know the above info and a pic if you could
Cheers
